In this program, Linda Castronovo will guide participants to understand the factors that affect balance, why balance changes as we age, and practical strategies for improving one's balance and reducing the risk of falls.
Linda Castronovo is a retired Amherst public school teacher, an exercise physiologist, and long-time Kripalu yoga teacher. For the past ten years, she has organized free, donation-based daily yoga at Andrews Greenhouse and the Munson Library in South Amherst and coordinates Everyday Wellbeing, a nonprofit committed to making vibrant wellbeing accessible to all by providing donation-based classes, workshops, and events that empower people to live their healthiest lives.
